We are thrilled to announce that The Glyde Inn has been selected as a finalist in the highly-regarded Good Food Ireland Awards 2024, in association with FBD Insurance. Our hard work, dedication, and commitment to showcasing the best of Ireland’s local produce has earned us this prestigious recognition as a finalist for Pub of the Year.

The winners of this year’s awards will be revealed at a high-profile, five-star dinner taking place on Monday, November 11th at the K Club Hotel, County Kildare. This gala event will feature a celebration of Ireland's finest food, and we look forward to honoring your contribution to the island’s vibrant food and drink industry.

Good Food Ireland Awards 2024 highlights excellence across the entire food and drink sector, from primary producers and chefs to pubs, hotels, and tourism experiences. These awards recognize those businesses that stand out for their use of local, fresh, seasonal, and Irish ingredients. You and your team have shown exemplary leadership in promoting these values, helping to strengthen local economies and celebrate Irish culture through food.

As part of this year’s Judging Panel, our independent experts have carefully shortlisted businesses that exemplify the best in Irish food and hospitality. Our panel, including respected industry leaders such as Margaret Jeffares (Founder & Managing Director of Good Food Ireland), journalist John Wilson, and hospitality consultant Tom O’Connell, will continue their evaluations through mystery inspections leading up to the awards night.

In addition to the main categories, the Food Lovers Choice Award will also allow the public to vote for their favorite Irish food businesses. Voting for this award opens on Friday, October 4th, and remains open until Sunday, October 20th. We encourage everyone to get involved and share their support for the incredible food culture we are all proud to represent.
