Upon opening we were quick to gain praise from our public and then our contemporaries in the food world. Critics raved about our lobster and our fish pie and our service, but at heart it's creating a great experience for our customers that motivates and energises all our staff.

We recognise that our location is special. Our views of Dundalk Bay with its intertidal shallows, its meeting of rivers and salt marsh, and in the distance the Mourne and Cooley mountains will always speak day or night of a quintessential Irish coastal landscape. The ideal setting for a great meal.

We can cater for groups as well as couples and families. Our restaurant can seat up to 100 guests without compromising on comfort or quality. We draw on a long line of hospitality and tradition (Our very name is taken from the first Viking settlement in Ireland) and are proud to do so.

Our award winning chefs prepare only the freshest, seasonally available produce which is then served up by our attentive, well trained waiting staff.
